When I was a kid in the 90s, my brother and I used to watch WWF, and it was around the time Todd Pettengill was an interviewer/announcer. We didnt know anything about his radio career, and didnt know until a few years ago. We just assumed he was a wrestling guy. But we always made fun of his mullet and how he'd try to be edgy and wear this really gay greg Louganis earring. I dont know why we latched onto saying that he had aids, but it was just really funny to us. So we would tell kids at school that Todd Pettengill had aids, and they'd believe us 😂😂 And then other kids would go and repeat it to other kids. Some somewhere out there right now, there are adults in their 30s or 40s that from time to time may wonder about Todd pettengill and how he ever made out with his aids diagnosis. They've maybe see him and think "Wow man, he's really looking good and hanging in there".
